So entsteht eine skalierbare Lösung, die sich ideal für Campus-Installationen mit Wachstumspotential eignet. Der EX4200 kann in demselben Virtual Chassis auch mit EX4500- und EX4550-Switches kombiniert werden, um gemischte 1 GbE- und 10 GbE-Umgebungen zu unterstützen.\n\nEX4200-Switches unterstützen 10/100/1000BASE-T mit 24- und 48-Port-Konfigurationen und bieten optional Full oder Partial IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) oder 802.3at PoE+. Für Gigabit-Aggregationen in Langstrecken-Installationen stehen 100BASE-FX/1000BASE-X SFP-basierte Glasfaserkonfigurationen mit 24 Ports zur Verfügung. Zu den verfügbaren Uplinks gehören Vier-Port-GbE- oder Zwei-Port-10 GbE-Kupferkabel- oder Glasfaserkonfigurationen.
