Die ProSAFE® S3300 Reihe ist eine neue Generation von stapelbaren Gigabit Smart Switches mit vier 10G-Ports - entweder für Uplinks und/oder zum Stapeln mit anderen S3300 Switches. Ein betriebssicher verschaltetes LAN-Netzwerkdesign erfordert eine Architektur, die mit dem Unternehmensnetz wachsen kann und flexibel genug ist, um schnellere Server- und Storage-Verbindungen zu unterstützen. Da KMUs immer mehr Daten produzieren und konsumieren, muss Gigabit bis zum Desktop zunehmend mit 10GbE-Konnektivität zum Core untermauert werden. Die neue Generation von Switches ermöglicht KMUs-kosteneffiziente 10G-Verbindungen zwischen dem Access- und Aggregation-Layer im Netzwerk bereitzustellen.

Die ProSAFE S3300-Reihe setzt neue Maßstäbe hinsichtlich Flexibilität und Auswahlmöglichkeit für KMUs, die von zuverlässiger, zukunftssicherer Technologie profitieren wollen zu überschaubaren Kosten. Mit ihren vielen Enterprise-Class-Features und erweiterten Sicherheitsmaßnahmen steht damit die einzige Advanced- Smart-Switch-Plattform zur Verfügung, um sowohl dedizierte 10GBase-T- als auch SFP+-Uplink- und Stacking-Konnektivität in PoE+ und Nicht-PoE-Konfigurationen bereitzustellen.

Leistungsfähige Plattform für anspruchsvolle Anwendungen

Mit einer Auswahl von 24- oder 48-Port-Modellen meistern diese Switches anspruchsvolle Aufgaben wie Datenreplikation und Backup, Video-on-Demand sowie großvolumige Transaktionsverarbeitung. Bis zu sechs Switches der S3300-Reihe können für insgesamt 300 Netzwerk-Ports gestapelt werden, mit 40Gbit/s Stapel-Bandbreite und vollständiger Redundanz für unübertroffene Zuverlässigkeit. Neben der Fähigkeit, PoE+ auf jedem Port mit ergänzenden EPS bereitzustellen, sind der Anwendungsvielfalt keine Grenzen gesetzt: von PTZ-IP-Kamera-Überwachung bis hin zu Hochleistungs-Wireless-Access-Points und VoIP-Telefonie; 10GBase-T-Uplink-Fähigkeit als Standard ermöglicht die kostengünstige Nutzung bestehender Kupferinstallationen.
