Die SRXN3205 ist somit die perfekte kostengünstige Netzwerklösung für kleine Unternehmen, die auf eine sichere und zuverlässige Hochgeschwindigkeitsverbindung zwischen Firmennetzwerk und mobilen Mitarbeitern angewiesen sind.\n\nDie SRXN3205 unterstützt zwei Methoden, um Außenstellen, externe Mitarbeiter und Partner sicher per Virtual Private Network (VPN) mit dem Firmennetzwerk zu verbinden Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) und IP Security (IPSec). Beide Zugriffsarten können zeitgleich genutzt werden. Über SSL erhalten Anwender Browser-basierten Zugang auf Unternehmensnetze eine Client-Software ist nicht erforderlich. Administratoren müssen für VPN-Clients weder Lizenzen erwerben, noch müssen sie diese verwalten. Die IPSec VPN-Tunnel ermöglichen daneben sowohl sichere Site-to-Site Tunnel als auch Client-basierte Fernzugriffe.\n\nZusätzlich ist die SRXN3205 mit einem Dualband Wireless-N Access Point ausgestattet. Als solches verbindet das über SNMP administrierbare Gerät Clients, die mit 5 GHz entsprechend 802.11a und 802.11n funken, gleichermaßen wie solche, die mit 2,4 GHz nach 802.11b/g und 802.11n arbeiten. Dadurch vermeidet die ProSafe Wireless-N VPN Firewall Interferenzen und ermöglicht Unternehmen einen nahtlosen Wechsel der Netzwerk-Infrastruktur von 802.11b/g zu 802.11n.\n\nMit einem Gigabit WAN-Port und vier geswitchten Gigabit LAN-Ports, Autosensing-Fähigkeit und Auto Uplink ist die SRXN3205 die ideale Lösung für Anwender, die große Datenmengen bewegen. Der Gigabit Wide Area Network (WAN)-Port garantiert ein Maximum an Datendurchsatz. Die vier Local Area Network (LAN)-Ports mit 10/100/1000 MBit/s verteilen die Daten mit Hochgeschwindigkeit im Netzwerk.
