Managed Switch Layer 2 10/100/1000 mit 48 PoE-Ports\nDer GS2210-48HP ist insgesamt mit 48 Gigabit-Ports ausgestattet und eignet sich ideal für den Einsatz in grösseren KMUs. Oft reicht ein GS2210-48HP für sämtliche Verbindungen in einem Serverraum aus. Mit bis zu sechs SFP-Modulen können Switches in anderen Etagen oder Gebäuden angebunden werden. ZyXEL bietet eine grosse Auswahl an SFP-Modulen für unterschiedliche Distanzen und auch für die bidirektionale Übertragung auf einer Faser.\n\nDer GS2210-48HP mit IEEE-802.3at-Support unterstützt PoE-Plus und kann mehrere Geräte über das Ethernetkabel mit Strom versorgen. Der Switch verfügt über 48 PoE-Ports mit bis zu 30 Watt pro Port. So kann an Orten ohne Steckdose problemlos ein leistungsfähiges Netzwerk eingerichtet oder erweitert werden. Auch Geräte mit hohem Stromverbrauch, wie z. B. WLAN-Access-Points, IP-Kameras und IP-Telefone, können versorgt werden. Des Weiteren bietet der Switch zwei verschiedene PoE-Modi den Classification und den Consumption-Modus. Im Consumption-Modus reserviert der Switch automatisch die tatsächlich benötigte Leistung. Angeschlossene Geräte können über die entsprechenden Ports priorisiert werden, um das vorhandene PoE-Budget optimal auszunutzen. Damit lässt sich die Anzahl angeschlossener Geräte steigern, was den ROI (Return-of-Investment) des Switches erhöht.\n\nWie alle ZyXEL Switches liefern der Gigabit-Switch vollen Wire-Speed auf allen Ports. Dank der Management-Funktionen ist der GS2210-48HP für sichere 10/100- und Gigabit-Verbindungen nach 802.1x, sowie Priorisierung, Traffic-Monitoring, 802.1Q VLAN, Spanning-Tree, IGMP und erweitertes Management.
