The established LANCOM product brand will continue as R&S®LANCOM and will remain synonymous with professional networking, WLAN, switching and security solutions for businesses, public-sector organisations and demanding IT infrastructures.

R&S LANCOM – professional network solutions for businesses
With R&S LANCOM, Rohde & Schwarz Networks and Cybersecurity offers professional solutions for modern enterprise networks. The portfolio includes routers and SD-WAN gateways, switches, WLAN access points, firewalls, as well as solutions for network management and remote access. This makes it possible to build and centrally manage both individual sites and extensive multi-site IT infrastructures.
The products are aimed in particular at businesses, public-sector organisations and institutions that value high-performance, secure and long-term network infrastructures. Depending on the application, R&S LANCOM components can be combined and adapted to different requirements in terms of network size, performance, security and management.
From LANCOM Systems to Rohde & Schwarz Networks and Cybersecurity
Since 1 July 2026, LANCOM Systems has operated under the name Rohde & Schwarz Networks and Cybersecurity. At the same time, the expertise of LANCOM Systems and Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity has been brought together within the joint company. The focus therefore covers both traditional enterprise networks and cybersecurity solutions for businesses, public-sector organisations and other security-critical environments.
For existing LANCOM customers, however, the new brand structure does not mean a complete change to the familiar product portfolio. The established LANCOM product brand will continue under the name R&S®LANCOM. Previous product names may also continue to appear during the transition. Product identity, functionality and compatibility remain unchanged as part of the new brand structure.
LANCOM or R&S LANCOM – what is the difference?
Anyone searching for LANCOM routers, LANCOM switches or LANCOM access points will increasingly also come across the name R&S LANCOM. This does not represent a completely new product portfolio, but rather the continuation of the established LANCOM range under Rohde & Schwarz Networks and Cybersecurity.
The new brand name makes the affiliation with the Rohde & Schwarz Group more visible. For businesses that already use LANCOM products, the existing infrastructure therefore remains relevant and can be expanded with current R&S LANCOM solutions.
Routers, switches, WLAN and security from R&S LANCOM
The R&S LANCOM portfolio covers key areas of professional network infrastructure. Routers and SD-WAN gateways enable the networking of individual or multiple business locations. Managed switches form the basis of high-performance LAN infrastructures and connect clients, servers, access points and other network components.
For wireless enterprise networks, R&S LANCOM offers access points and WLAN solutions. The portfolio is complemented by Unified Firewalls and additional security solutions. This allows network operation and security requirements to be combined within a coordinated infrastructure.
Central management with the R&S LANCOM Management Cloud
Centralised administration plays an important role in larger or distributed network environments. With the R&S LANCOM Management Cloud, compatible network components can be managed centrally. This is particularly useful for multiple locations or larger numbers of routers, switches and access points.
Businesses can manage their network infrastructure more efficiently and implement changes centrally instead of configuring each device individually. Depending on the infrastructure and requirements, additional management options are also available for R&S LANCOM products.
