The Zebra DS8100 series sets new standards in data capture. It was developed to speed up transactions, from classic checkout to self-scanning and click-and-collect processes. With powerful scanning performance, a fast processor and high-precision image processing technology, the series can read any type of barcode. Even damaged barcodes, codes on curved surfaces or directly from a smartphone display are captured reliably and quickly.

For the healthcare sector, Zebra offers special healthcare models that are optimised for frequent cleaning and sensitive working areas. The smooth, hygienic housing prevents the ingress of germs and can be easily treated with disinfectants. In addition, low-noise feedback options, such as vibration or LED signals, ensure that patients in quiet areas are not disturbed. Scanner status, energy level and performance data are transparently visible at all times, which greatly simplifies device management and reduces downtime. For the power supply, there is a choice between battery or capacitor.
