The Zebra DS9900 series comprises powerful hybrid scanners that combine handheld and presentation modes and automatically adapt to the respective application. As soon as the scanner is picked up, it recognises the switch to handheld mode, making workflows more efficient. The flexible design ensures that employees can scan items hands-free or manually without interruption. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, the series reliably captures 1D and 2D barcodes and digital codes on smartphone displays. Even damaged, faded or poorly printed barcodes are recognised immediately. This is made possible by the powerful processor, high-resolution megapixel sensor and innovative PRZM Intelligent Imaging technology from Zebra.

With RFID functionality, multiple RFID-tagged items can be captured in a single scan without the need for direct line of sight. This simplifies inventory control and facilitates order picking. Thanks to its IP52 protection class and sturdy construction, the series is robust and can withstand drops from up to 1.5 metres, repeated shocks and spilled liquids without any problems. In addition, the DS9900 series supports document capture, OCR data evaluation and simultaneous scanning of multiple barcodes. Setup is easy with plug-and-play and automatic host detection.
