Cisco's Small Business Access Points are compact solutions designed especially for small businesses and areas with low workloads. Depending on the model, these Cisco access points are designed for under 50 and up to 500 users. The Cisco access points offer WLAN according to the IEEE 802.11ac standard and thus a maximum speed of 867 Mbps per channel.
The Small Business Access Points from Cisco are prepared for easy integration into the network. For example, the Cisco access points support PoE (Power over Ethernet) and do not require their own power supply unit for operation if the central switch also offers PoE and takes over the power supply via the Gigabit Ethernet port. Setup and management are easy via the Cisco Business Mobile App.
Cisco Business Access Points also include extenders. These are a cost-effective option for extending the range of the WLAN. They do not require a cable connection, but integrate themselves into the wireless network and repeat the signal. These range extenders are installed directly in a free power socket.
