Palo Alto Firewall PA-460: Intelligent protection for distributed locations
The PA-460 from the Palo Alto Networks PA-400 series is a modern next-generation firewall specially developed for medium-sized companies, branches and retail locations. It uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to automatically detect and immediately ward off threats such as malware or phishing. Thanks to cloud-based analytics, the firewall is always up to date and can stop new risks immediately. In addition, the PA-460 offers full transparency of all network activities. Applications are identified independently of ports or encryption, and IoT devices are automatically detected.
Flexible protection, zero trust and SD-WAN
With the PA-460, policies can be applied to all devices and users regardless of location, whether in the office, home office or on the road. The system dynamically adapts security measures to user behaviour, supports multi-factor authentication and facilitates the transition to a zero trust architecture via the Cloud Identity Engine. Even encrypted data traffic is securely checked, insecure TLS versions are detected and optionally decrypted for analysis purposes. The integrated SD-WAN ensures fast connections, reduces latency and simplifies network control.
