The Zebra DS8100-HC series was specially designed for the medical sector and supports nursing staff and laboratory personnel in data-critical tasks. The scanner combines modern imaging technology with a robust, hygienic design, ensuring smooth processes such as patient admission. Thanks to the fast 800 MHz processor, high-resolution sensor technology and Zebra's PRZM Intelligent Imaging, even challenging barcodes can be captured instantly. The housing is made of durable materials that can withstand regular disinfection without any problems. Various types of feedback are available, such as haptic vibration, LED signals or acoustic cues.

Depending on the application scenario, the DS8100-HC can be powered by a long-lasting PowerPrecision+ battery or the fast PowerCap™ capacitor. A Wi-Fi-friendly mode prevents network interference, while the Virtual Tether feature alerts you when a scanner is misplaced. The compact docking stations can be flexibly mounted on mobile work carts, walls or desks and serve as presentation holders. With AutoConfig, the scanner automatically adopts the required settings for the respective base station. Comprehensive management tools such as 123Scan, Remote Diagnostics and ScanSpeed Analytics are also available.
