The Allied Telesis IE510 series is suitable for demanding applications where reliability, performance and security are critical. With Gigabit and 10 Gigabit connectivity, a robust metal housing and extended temperature range, they are ideal for use in industrial, power supply, transport or smart city environments. The IE510-28GSX model features 24 ports, four additional 1/10G uplinks and the ability to combine multiple devices into a virtual chassis using VCStack™. The fanless design ensures quiet and low-maintenance operation, while the simple DIN rail mounting allows for easy installation.
Intelligent management and comprehensive security features
The IE510 series offers many advanced management and security features. The AlliedWare Plus™ operating system and Autonomous Management Framework™ enable easy device management, automated updates and efficient network maintenance. In addition, the switch can be controlled via CLI, web GUI, SSH or SNMP. Features such as Network Access Control, IEEE 802.1X, Loop Guard and triple authentication are available to protect sensitive infrastructures. Active Fiber Monitoring™ detects tampering with fibre optic connections in real time, while EPSRing™ and VCStack-LD ensure continuous network availability.
