Aruba CX 6400: Switches with high availability and strong performance

The Aruba CX 6400 Series features excellent availability. The switches use the Aruba Virtual Switching Extension, an advanced approach to minimise downtime. They allow you to set up a highly available redundant structure where control of the network is distributed across multiple devices. This way, traffic is available even during a software upgrade. In addition, Aruba CX 6400 switches allow power to be supplied to the connected devices via PoE. This is ideal for IoT applications.

This is complemented by transparent management of the systems. The Aruba Network Analytics Engine allows seamless monitoring. In the event of a fault, you can intervene in real time. In addition, the Aruba CX 6400 series switches use the Aruba Central cloud service. This enables interesting AI-supported analyses. It also makes it possible to manage the switches remotely.

Aruba CX 6400 switches are sometimes also available with the brand name HPE CX 6400 or HP CX 6400. However, these are completely identical in construction. The hardware manufacturer HP took over Aruba back in 2015. Since then, the product lines have been standardised, although they are still available under different brand names.
