HPE Aruba CX 6100: Powerful entry-level switches for SMEs

The HPE Aruba CX 6100 series is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises and branch offices that require a reliable network solution. Despite their entry-level positioning, the switches offer strong performance and are ideal for modern requirements such as cloud, mobile and IoT applications.

Flexible models for different areas of application

The series includes compact 1U models with 12, 24 or 48 connections. The fanless 12-port model is particularly practical and is suitable for use in noise-sensitive environments. Thanks to integrated Power over Ethernet (PoE), devices such as access points or cameras can be supplied with power directly via the switch - up to 740 W in accordance with IEEE 802.3at Class 4.

High network performance and easy integration

All models have integrated 10 GbE uplinks for fast data transmission and an efficient connection to the core network. This makes the switches ideal for bandwidth-intensive applications and the integration of IoT components. The layer 2 functionality and support for static routing ensure simple network architecture without unnecessary complexity.

Standardised operating system for smooth management

The switches are based on the proven Aruba ASIC architecture and utilise the programmable AOS-CX operating system, which is used across the entire Aruba CX portfolio. This guarantees an efficient user experience, high reliability and future-proof scalability. Cloud-based management via an intuitive interface enables simple and centralised configuration of the devices - even remotely.

Centralised cloud management and security

With HPE Aruba Networking Central, devices can be managed centrally - intuitively, efficiently and regardless of location. Strong security functions such as access control and data encryption also ensure a high level of network security. Support for IPv6 rounds off the future-proof overall package.
