Cisco Small Business 300

With the Cisco Small Business 300 series, the manufacturer provides a range of flexible switches for small and medium-sized business networks. This series of switches is divided into two lines. These are the Cisco Small Business 300 with 8, 24 or 48 Fast Ethernet ports and the variants with 10, 20, 28 or 52 Gigabit Ethernet ports. In addition, both lines are equipped with two Gigabit Ethernet combo ports. These are compatible with Mini-GBIC type modules, so there is a choice between fibre optic and copper connections.

Furthermore, the Cisco Small Business 300 is available in versions with PoE or PoE+ as well as without this function. If necessary, a switch can be selected that supplies other network devices with up to 30 watts of power per port via the network cable. The power budget of the switches is up to 740 watts. Some of the switches are also fanless and thus completely silent in operation.
