Cisco Catalyst 9117 Access Points

With the compact Cisco Catalyst 9117 access points, professional wireless networks with particularly high data transmission rates can be set up. These access points are designed for public areas and corporate networks. They support the WLAN standards 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) and 802.11ac Wave 2.

The Cisco 9117 access points offer 8x8 multi-user MIMO on the 5 GHz band. This allows a maximum data transmission rate of 3.5 GBit/s. Integration into the local network is possible with an RJ-45 multigigabit Ethernet port. This supports speeds of 100/1000/2,500/5,000 Mbps.

The power supply of the Cisco Catalyst 9117 access points is also possible via the network cable. These access points are compatible with PoE, PoE+ and UPOE+. However, the full performance is only given with UPOE+ or with the external power supply. In addition, the Cisco Catalyst 9117 access points are equipped with a wireless controller from the manufacturer. This enables the configuration and control of all access points in the network from a central point.
