Cisco Aironet 1700 Access Points

The Cisco Aironet 1700 access points are among the entry-level solutions for setting up wireless networks in companies. The strengths of these access points include their low weight and compact design. This series is designed for small and medium-sized networks. The access points are compatible with the WLAN standard 802.11ac Wave 1 and offer 3x3 multi-user MIMO. The Cisco Aironet 1700 access points belong to the class of dual-band access points and transmit on 2.4 and 5 GHz. This enables a maximum data transmission rate in the WLAN of 1.3 GBit/s.

The Cisco Aironet 1700 access points are integrated into the network via the RJ-45 port. Speeds of 10/100/1000 Mbps are possible here. The Cisco Aironet 1700 series requires a combination with a central Cisco Wireless LAN Controller. This is used to centrally configure and control all access points in the network. Furthermore, power supply via the network is possible, because the Cisco Aironet 1700 access points support PoE and PoE+.
