Cisco Aironet 4800 Access Points

The Cisco Aironet 4800 access points are designed for setting up wireless networks in companies and organisations. They are dual-band access points that use both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. The Cisco Aironet 4800 AIR-AP4800-E-K9C model can be flexibly configured so that the Cisco Aironet 4800 can also be used as a dual 5 GHz access point. Bandwidths of up to 2.6 GBit/s per channel can be realised.

The Cisco Aironet 4800 access points support WLAN according to the 802.11ac Wave 2 standard. In combination with multi-user multiple-input, multiple-output, this increases the possible bandwidth and the maximum number of simultaneous connections.

Integration into the network is achieved via the Ethernet port, which supports 100/1000/2500/5000 multigigabit Ethernet. The power supply is possible via Power over Ethernet and Cisco UPOE, so that the Cisco Aironet 4800 access points can be operated without their own power supply unit.
