Cisco Aironet 3800 Access Points

The Cisco Aironet 3800 Access Point series enables the creation of professional wireless networks in larger companies and organisations as well as public areas such as stadiums or event halls. The access points support WLAN according to the 802.11ac Wave 2 standard. They belong to the dual-band access points and have bands for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. Operation in dual 5 GHz mode is possible via the configuration, so that a maximum bandwidth of 5.2 GBit/s is available.

The Cisco Aironet 3800 access points are equipped with special features for Apple mobile devices. Thus, the access points give the devices preferential treatment for business-critical applications and improve roaming properties. The Cisco Aironet 3800 access points have two multigigabit Ethernet ports to support 100/1000/2500/5000 Mbps networks. Thanks to PoE and Cisco UPOE, the Cisco Aironet 3800 access points can be powered via the network, enabling operation on site without a power supply unit.
