Cisco Catalyst 3560-CX

The Cisco Catalyst 3560-CX switches are from the Compact series. These are solutions that are primarily designed for the expansion of existing, larger networks at the enterprise level. Thus, the Cisco 3560CX are intended for decentralised positioning outside the central network node. Installation is possible, for example, on a wall, underneath a table or also classically in a rack.

The Cisco 3560CX is available with eight or twelve ports that support 10/100/1000, as well as a variant with six 10/100/1000 ports and two 100/2500/5000/10000 ports for multigigabit Ethernet. In addition, the switches have two or four uplink ports in 1 Gbit/s SFP and 10 Gigabit SFP+ format.

The Cisco Catalyst 3560-CX support PoE+ and Cisco UPOE as well as PoE pass-through. This facilitates integration, as no separate power supply is required. Furthermore, it is possible to supply power to network devices connected to the Cisco 3560CX, such as an access point, via PoE, so that these systems can also operate without their own power supply.
