Cisco Catalyst 3650

The Cisco Catalyst 3650 are a series of switches for the centralised construction of network infrastructures. The switches are primarily intended for integration and as an interface to wireless Wi-Fi networks. The Cisco 3650 is available with 24 or 48 ports. These support 10/100/1000 Mbit/s networks. Individual models have eight or twelve ports with 1/2.5/5/10 Gbps. In addition, four or eight uplink ports are available. These are designed in SFP, SFP+ or QSFP+ format. Thus the uplink ports are designed for speeds of up to 40 Gbit/s.

The Cisco Catalyst 3650 series has modular power supplies and replaceable fans. The change is possible directly on site. Depending on the model, the Cisco 3650 series switches support PoE, PoE+ or UPOE. This makes it possible to organise the power supply of network devices such as IP cameras or access points directly via the network. The Cisco Catalyst 3650 provide up to 820 watts in total and a maximum of 60 watts per port via Power over Ethernet.
