Cisco Catalyst 3750-X
With the Cisco Catalyst 3750-X, stackable managed switches are available for setting up larger company networks. Up to 48 ports and up to four uplinks are available per switch. Up to nine switches can be combined to form a stack. These switches are based on the same technology as the Cisco Catalyst 3750 series, but also have a modular system for exchanging and selecting uplinks.
Modules with RJ-45 and SFP/SFP+ are thus available for the Cisco Catalyst 3750X. These offer uplink options for 1 or 10 Gbit/s as well as the option of transmitting data via Cat-5 cable or via optical fibre.
The fixed configuration of the Cisco Catalyst 3750X includes either 24 or 48 ports with 10/100/1000 Mbps and PoE+ as well as UPOE. Furthermore, the Cisco Catalyst 3750-X is available as a version with 12 or 24 SFP ports for 1000 Mbit/s networks. The switches provide up to 800 watts of power over Ethernet.
