Cisco Wireless Controller 3504

The Cisco Wireless Controller 3504 is a particularly compact control device for wireless networks. It is integrated directly into the network via cable. An Ethernet connection with 5 Gbit/s and four Gigabit Ethernet ports are available for this purpose.

The Cisco WLC 3504 is designed for small and medium-sized WLAN networks. One control unit manages up to 150 access points. Central control of the entire WLAN and all connected access points is then possible via the interface of the Cisco WLC 3504. In this way, standardised access rules, security guidelines and all other settings for the WLAN as well as for all access points can be created.

The Cisco Wireless Controller 3504 is compatible with the access points from the Cisco Aironet and Cisco Catalyst series as well as the Cisco Prime infrastructure and the Cisco Mobility Services Engine. Joint operation with the Cisco 5520 and 8540 Wireless Controllers is also possible.

The Cisco WLC 3504 also provides two PoE-capable ports for wireless access points. The compact design without active fan allows unobtrusive and space-saving integration in virtually any location.
