Cisco Wireless Controller 7510

The Cisco Wireless Controller 7510 is designed for the control and management of large wireless networks in companies and organisations. The Cisco WLC 7510 is particularly suitable for the central control of companies with distributed WLANs. Thus, up to 6,000 branch offices with separate WLANs and a maximum of 100 access points each can be controlled via the wireless controller.

The Cisco WLC 7510 is compatible with Cisco Aironet access points, the Cisco Prime infrastructure and the Cisco Mobility Services Engine (MSE). A Cisco Wireless Controller 7510 supports a maximum of 6,000 access points and 64,000 clients. Integration into the network is achieved via two Gigabit Ethernet ports and one port for SFP modules. Direct installation in the network cabinet is possible thanks to the standardised design of 1U. The support of the Wireless Controller 7510 by Cisco ended on 30 April 2022.
