Cisco Wireless Controller 2504

The Cisco Wireless Controller 2504 series is designed for the central management of all access points of the manufacturer. The Cisco Wireless Controllers of the 2500 series are integrated directly into a network via the Gigabit Ethernet ports. From there, access to all access points located in the internal network is possible. The Cisco Wireless Controller 2504 is particularly compact and thus suitable for decentralised installation outside the network cabinet.

The number of access points that can be managed via the Cisco Wireless Controller 2504 is 75. Access to the configuration is possible via the web interface or directly via the console on the wireless controller. Here, security settings, WLAN passwords and also virtual networks can be configured centrally via the Cisco Wireless Controller 2500 series.

Access points can also be connected directly to the Cisco 2500 Series Wireless Controller. For this purpose, the devices have a total of four Ethernet ports. Two of these support PoE, so that the access points can also be supplied with power via the Cisco 2500 series wireless controller.
