Cisco Wireless Controller 5520

The Cisco Wireless Controller 5520 is designed for the management of larger WLAN networks. With the Cisco WLC 5520, up to 1500 access points in the entire network area can be centrally controlled, managed and configured. Due to the standardised design format of 1U, the Cisco WLC 5520 can be integrated directly into a rack and thus into the network infrastructure. Two Ethernet ports for speeds of 10/100/1000 Mbps as well as one SFP and one SFP+ slot are available. Furthermore, the Cisco Wireless Controller 5520 offers one service port, one console port and one Cisco Integrated Management port.

Access points from the Cisco Aironet and Catalyst series as well as the Cisco Prime infrastructure and Cisco Mobility Services Engines can be managed with a Cisco Wireless Controller 5520.
